About the Role

An infrastructure engineering role building the internal developer tooling and platform foundations that underpin Foundry, Gotham, and Apollo
You join one of four infrastructure teams: backend infrastructure, developer infrastructure, frontend infrastructure, or storage infrastructure
You are paired with a mentor and work on real projects from the start

Key Responsibilities

Building and improving internal developer tooling and platform infrastructure
Working on backend services, build systems, frontend infrastructure, or database and search systems depending on team
Improving developer productivity and platform reliability
Contributing to open-source tooling such as Blueprint (Palantir's UI framework)

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or related field
  • Experience coding in Java, C++, Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar
  • Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, or front-end frameworks

Nice-to-haves

  • Interest in reading open-source library source code (e.g. Cassandra, Chromium)
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, Gradle, or CircleCI
