Honest Review

By Robert (Recent Uni Grad)

Marshall Wace is a large hedge fund with about 240 employees across London, New York, and Hong Kong. The tech grad programme is an 18-24 month rotational scheme where you move between different technology teams, which is a nice way to figure out what you actually want to do. They don't list the salary but Glassdoor suggests around £40k base with a bonus taking it to about £48-52k, which is decent for London. The Glassdoor rating is 4.3 which is pretty high, and reviews mention free meals, a gym onsite, and a collaborative culture. They do offer visa sponsorship too which is worth noting. The written application asks you to describe a coding project which will take a bit of effort.
